Jacqueline M. Stroh San Antonio, Texas
Jackie Stroh graduated cum laude from Tulane University in New Orleans in 1989. She was one of only three students in Tulane's Newcomb College that year to be awarded two degrees simultaneously (a B.S. in psychology and a B.A. in sociology). She also completed an Honor's Thesis in psychology and minored in French. Prompted to attend Washington & Lee University's School of Law in Lexington, Virginia by a scholarship award, Jackie graduated from W & L cum laude in 1994.
Following graduation, Jackie relocated to Beaumont, Texas and joined the firm of Benckenstein, Norvell & Nathan, L.L.P. as an associate. Jackie practiced in Beaumont for five years and gained extensive appellate experience during that time, arguing before both the Ninth Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Texas. Wanting to practice appellate law exclusively, Jackie began working with Crofts & Callaway, P.C. in 1999. Shortly after joining the firm, Jackie became board certified in Civil Appellate Law. She has continued to argue before and brief cases to appellate courts throughout Texas and has also expanded her docket to include substantial work in the Fifth Circuit federal appellate court, as well as in the Supreme Court of the United States.
Jackie is licensed to practice before all Texas State Courts and is admitted to practice
in the United States District Courts for the Eastern (1994), Southern (1997), and Western (2000) Districts of Texas. She is also admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit (1998) and the United States Supreme Court (2001). She actively serves on various appellate committees, such as the Texas Young Lawyers' Association's Moot Court Competition Committee, which hosts an annual moot court competition among Texas law schools, as well as the San Antonio Bar Association's Court of Appeals Committee. She has also been a member of the
State Bar's Appellate Section since 1997 and the San Antonio Bar's Appellate Section since 1999.
Jackie also finds time to devote to her community. She has been a member of the Junior League of San Antonio since 2002. She has not only learned a great deal about the San Antonio area, but also has worked to improve the community through various volunteer activities.
